Most of the ShareIT research on interactive tabletops was conducted on the DiamondTouch, generously loaned to us by MERL / Circle Twelve. To give back to the DiamondTouch community, we are sharing some of the software we developed.

DTBridge (DiamondTouch for Mac OS X)

The standard development toolkit and drivers for the DiamondTouch are Windows based. Since we primarily use Macs, we developed a small application, DTBridge, that takes input from the DiamondTouch and transfers it over OSC. Since OSC libraries are available for most programming languages, this is a simple way to interface new applications to DiamondTouch input.
